We are proud to announce the arrival of our new clinical specialist sports physiotherapist, Alex Buckley.

Alex works for the medical team at Manchester United FC and has treated many of the stars we all see week in week out on television. He also has a vast amount of experience in the NHS as a clinical lead in Urgent Care. Here is all you need to know about Alex.

Alex gained his BSc (hons) degree in Physiotherapy from Manchester University in 2005, after previously gaining a BA (hons) in Sports and Health Science from the University of Wales, Bangor. He has completed post graduate MSc modules in upper limb, lower limb, radiology and Injection therapy.

Alex specialises in advanced musculoskeletal assessment and diagnosis, with a particular interest in sports injury management and rehabilitation. This has been consolidated by working within elite premier league academies for the last 7 years.

Alex has over 12 years of clinical experience and has treated national and international standard athletes. This enables him to care for patients from the very onset of an acute injury to the final stages of rehabilitation, when returning to sport.
